Avery L. Fazio

Avery Fazio is a visual artist based in Connecticut. With formal training in painting and professional experience as a sewing apprentice, she went on to receive her BFA in Fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Now, her practice involves the disciplines of painting, textiles, and craft. Avery has pursued further education at Penland School of Craft and is the current Artist in Residence at the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon, Connecticut.

In May of 2025, Avery earned her BFA in Fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Led by her captivation with color, light, and movement, her practice is furthered by material experimentation and intuitive mark making, prompted by physical findings, and expanded through repetition.
